I find Yahoo a reliable host, gives you satisfactory results and is indeed a great source for any company. They prove awesomely with their prices and are have catchy ideas to help even a beginner! Yahoo is easy to use and works like a charm. Their hosting has great utilities and methods and creations for all ages!

Pretty good. No complex sites Only simple ones are good. Old and slow servers are supported not newer ones.

Yahoo was once a great place to start, now its really old. The support is not really good at all.Sites like mine, simple one’s, run properly but if you would like to run a nice, well designed website for lets say, gaming, you need a better host. The design of the website is also a problem, its really un-organised. The prices are also not so good but thats not the problem. Think twice before using Yahoo hosting services.

i think they are great. i have yet to have a problem with them but for some reason my emails keep getting deleted when i don’t erase them….i lost my old pay-pal information due to this mistake they made. i have yet to call customer support but by looking at reviews i don’t think they will help and yes i have recovered my email and i think they should take better care of their websites and servers. They are slow and are unreliable.

I absolutely love Yahoo!. I an check my mail as quick as lightning, read news and play games AT THE SAME TIME. It even has a program to earn money from clicks from a website. The email part is easy to use, and I can chat with my friends using the messenger. Comparing Windows Live Hotmail Messenger and Yahoo Messenger, Yahoo > Microsoft hands down. I really like, and i hope and know that many other people do too. I have tons of friend who use this site and personally, I would recomend this to anyone, even to the new dudes to the internet. Im honest here, i am not lying really.

Yahoo is fairly convenient compared to many other online hosts. My only complaint is that Yahoo’s interface seems somewhat cluttered and unorganized; the many colors and links gives the user the impression that too much is going on. This also makes navigation an issue.

Many people know Yahoo, but most people use Google nowadays for everything they do. Despite this Yahoo is still a fairly good site. Of course Yahoo is a free site, and it can give you want you want. The customer support for Yahoo is not too good, I used to have a site hosted by Yahoo and they failed to address my problems. Yahoo is pretty easy to use, but Google beats Yahoo here as well. Yahoo is always up, but its not always easy to find things you search for. All together I give Yahoo a rating of three stars. If you need anything Yahoo can do, just use Google.

I tried this service and didn’t like it very much. It lacked almost everything. You couldn’t get any customer service. It was also very hard to figure out. I would reccomend GoDaddy.

I have a web site that gets about 6000 page views a day. Alexa ranks my loading speed as “Very slow”, even though it is not image heavy. This may be causing my site to be penalized by search engines. I dread calling customer service because of my previous experience with them. Seeking another web host.

Yahoo! web hosting is great for simple websites that want to get set up fast with little work. Templates are provided and there is a large variety of options. It is easy to understand and user-friendly. However, Yahoo! web hosting does not provide an option to edit the HTML of your site, so you cannot use AdSense or place links to external websites without displaying the unattractive HTML of each individual link straight on your site. Good for simple websites. Not good for large, marketing or product websites.

“I would SERIOUSLY reconsider using Yahoo Web Hosting. For reasons unknown to me, my small business website disappeared. When I called yahoo to inquire, I was faced with an automated service that placed me on hold for over 45 minutes. When I finally reached a customer service representative, I was told to contact the abuse department via email. I complied, only to discover, the next day, that my yahoo business and personal email accounts had both been deleted. I researched online and called customer care (horrific, all day affair), and was informed that my contacts and data (emails and website) had been permanently wiped–BY YAHOO! Nobody was able to help me, and I have yet to hear back from the abuse department (only reachable via email). This all came out of nowhere with no written explanation, courtesy phone call, or action taken on the part of yahoo. I am shocked and appalled by this outrageous breach of trust and customer loyalty. “

Yahoo, a major search engine, surprised me when I learned that they offered webhosting, at just under $9.00. With a major corporation like Yahoo doing my hosting, I signed up for hosting for a client that I was making a website for. How astonished was I at how hastily it appeared everything was put together.
The customer service, horrendous. I couldn’t get a customer service representative to help me online, and after countless emails with no response, I decided to call them. After being on hold for almost an hour, they realized that it was a mistake on their part, and they gave me 3 months free hosting. Too bad I had already decided to leave…
The CPanel is hard to navigate, as any FAQ’s or any other help clearly don’t state where to even do some basic tasks. I am an advanced website builder, and I must have been over thinking a few steps. The hosting is definitely for beginners, so I’ll credit Yahoo with making it easy for them. However, if a webmaster wants a more technically advanced hosting, along with great support, I recommend other competitors, such as GoDaddy.
Advertising a hosting platform is what catches a lot of people. Take for instance, GoDaddy. They use a professional racecar driver, Danica Patrick, to promote their hosting. Yahoo? I haven’t seen a single advertisement explaining or promoting their services, which is why I was surprised when I found out they offered the hosting.
The good things about Yahoo hosting are far and few in between. They make it easy for beginners, and have great uptime with affordable hosting. Cheap hosting, which is what you pay for.
I am probably making this sound bad, however the hosting wasn’t horrible. I would recommend it to anybody looking to create their own site(s) using a fairly decent company.

Well, i don’t know exactly what have gotten into my head to try yahoo hosting out. But that is what i have done and have managed to stick with them for a full 3 months.
Probably i guess i often use yahoo search engine and got lazy instead of searching for the best or trustworthy hosting company, i chose yahoo instead. At first, it wasn’t so bad, as i set up and load the files, until when problems start to arise and i didn’t know what went wrong, i decided to approach their support for help.
Help is slow and didn’t seem to be of much value.. As in i asked for ‘A’ problem, they replied ‘B’ solution. In short, i got fed up by their service and their plan is NOT cheap! Overall, they are a good search engine company and probably they should stay as it is.

Basically yahoo hosting is affordable for small SME like my father. I found that it actually not that friendly use especially with all the control panel that is a bit too sophisticated. It takes my dad months with his partner to find someone to help them setup before they give up on setting up by them self.
Well one thing i must agree that the price is very affordable and it have at 5G of spaces for my dad business. Currently working for my dad, so just want to write this review to prompt the yahoo company to do better.

I’ve used Yahoo Web Hosting a few years ago and I can say that it actually meets my expectations. Firstly, they offer a very good price for the service, which a student like me can still afford. Also, it’s usability is simple enough for someone who is not really tech savvy, so any student like me out there who wants to start having their own site can easily start with Yahoo.
On top of that, I plan to start a business with my website just by using Yahoo to host my site. Traffic at the site is smooth and fast. Uploading big files for sharing is also not a problem as Yahoo allows almost an infinite storage! It’s good for me if I want to upload my school notes and online resources for sharing with other students out there.
As for the customer support, I have only contacted them once and they did reply promptly, good enough for me as I do not really expect much from them.

Yahoo gives you pain. Weak support and slow, old server technology. Simple sites may be ok, but complex cms? OMG.
