Should I choose a long term or short term contract with GoDaddy?
One of the things that a lot of people don’t realise is that a lot of web hosting companies will actually offer discounts on their price plans if you sign up for a longer period of time. A lot of web hosts will offer different contract lengths for their hosting plans and the longer the period of time you sign up for is, the more you will save. Of course, this doesn’t always means that it is better to go for a long term contract.
The thing to consider when it comes to choosing a short or long term contract at GoDaddy is how long you are likely to need the hosting company’s services. If you think that you are going to need the service for a few years for definite, the of course, a long term contract will be the best option as you will save money. However, if you think you may only need their services for a few months and you sign up for a long term contract, you will be bound to a contract even if you don’t use their services, so you could end up losing more money than you would save. Make sure to consider exactly what you need before choosing a contract at GoDaddy.
