Been with ipage for a couple years now, had downtime only once, was back up in a hour, customer service is excellent!! The only problem I see is their backbone is slow, when it comes to shared servers and using e-commerce carts, pages take too long to load. Otherwise pretty darn good overall.

I just started using Ipage today, i was referred by a buddy of mine who swears by them. ( he has a link to them from his website and gets paid for it) its hard to navigate through the control panel, it uses weebly drag and drop site builder among some other advanced options that i don't understand, i built a site in Photoshop and wanted to upload it and couldn't figure out how, weebly is horrible, no blank templets and the drag and drop is a joke, you can only drag it to pre determined areas no overlapping images, sizing an image is frustrating, overall weebly can go to hell, i will have to study up on the more advanced options for site building if i want to create a decent website, so far im very dissatisfied but will try again tomorrow. good luck.

Ipage is very user friendly and offers services that will only cost a fraction of your budget.

I have been using iPage for a little while now (a few months) and I have had outages at the very start of my webiste. Outages that seem to be back up relatively fast (within 1 hour or 2).

I use Wordpress and maybe that is the reason why the experience is better.

I access my site quite a bit to update and change things all the time, so keeping my site available is crucial to updates to articles, pages, and comments.

iPage is OK for now. I do like their support though, they seem friendly enough and seem to have some knowledge. Never had to get indepth help though.

I don't like the email storage though...250 mb? I asked and offered to pay for an upgrade and they said that was impossible. 250 mb is not that much with all the attachments we send back and forth through email.

Overall iPage is OK and will stick with them for a while until I experience a lot of outages.

Brilliant ever since I signed up. They do all the things that all the other web hosts also provide. What makes the difference is that they seem to work with passion. You'll realize that if you contact them for support. I really feel very welcome. By the way, server performance is excellent.

Great support, average control panel, offers plenty of storage and database space. Performance, on the other hand, is wretched. As I'm typing this, I'm waiting for six-line .php file to upload, and the attempt has timed out three times already. I'm using iPage for prototyping, so there should not be too much traffic at all, but simple pages take a noticably long time to load, and scripts often time out. It's too bad their servers suck, because everything else has been great so far, but speed is a pretty relavent factor. Also, there's no convenient way to migrate to a VPS from them, so if you need scalability, go elsewhere.

Friendly and useful staff made my experience with them very pleasant. Price was pretty good, and technical characteristics were competitive. They also supply a nice marketing packaging worth two hundred dollars for free, and include a nice designer package for free. Their control panel was so easy to learn, that I got a chance to experiment with a lot of settings. And when I messed them up, tech support helped change them back to default. The whole time with them was just so smooth, that I recommended them to everyone I know. I have no regrets signing up with this company. You site is guaranteed to stay online all the time and not give you any errors messages. My advice – go with them.

Ipage is a really user friendly hosting company. Tons of customizable templates are available to make the fine quality web building for your website. This web hosting company offerings unlimited space, bandwidth and free domain as the standard service of a web host. It also has spam scanning business verification and online security part of the hosting plans. Ipage hosting is echo-friendly. It uses wind powered energy to run the services. That will prevent the release of 2,660 metric tons of carbon fuel each year and provides you with a green website. Ipage will serve you with the first and the fastest machine available. It will give you more redundancy and fewer service interruptions.

I have chosen iPage hosting to host my 12 websites. Here I would like to share my honest review about this hosting.

Advantages:
1. Security impressed me most. I suffered from bad down time due to hacking of my previous hosting. However, after I changed to iPage, the hosting is secure and I have no more troubles. iPage also provides an enhanced security suite with daily malware and spam canning and 24x 7 network monitoring.

As my websites are mainly using wordpress script, I found it is very secure installing wordpress script using the iPage script installation.

2. Second point is technical customer service. They give quite prompt reply and they also provide 24 x 7 customer support. The technical support also has professional technical knowledge. I have faced problem in transferring my websites (using wordpress script) to iPage. Finally, I managed to transfer with the help of the support with step by step guide through chatting.

3. Price is another good merit to me. The price is very affordable with the features of unlimited domains, disk space, bandwidth and mysql database. If you are like me that building many micro niches site, this is perfect to bring down your costs.

4. Green hosting is another reason why I chose this hosting. This is because I hope to contribute a little to the environment.

Disadvantage:
I think the FAQ section is not clear enough. I have faced problems with transferring my wordpress driven websites to iPage at the beginning. This is because they only allow wordpress install through their secure script installation. If the website is manually transferred by ftp uploading to the hosting, there is a problem of log into wordpress admin. The correct way is to install the core wordpress script through their script installation and then ftp upload the other add ons files. It finally solved with the help of iPage technical support. But hey - safety first!

Overall, iPage is a very good and reliable hosting with very good technical support. The Uptime is also quite satisfactory. I highly recommended this hosting to anyone who is looking for low cost but good and reliable hosting.
