Bluehost was my very first hosting company to run my site.
I had heard some good reviews on various site also it ranked as number1. There customer support is very good, my site had good traffic and it was overloading their server so many times they have suspended my account without any notice. so i would like to say if your site have good traffic than you should try your own vps server rather than bluehost,if you are going to run personal business site and dont have much traffic than bluehost is good they give 100% uptime

Overall, I am fairly pleased with the service I received from Bluehost. The only consistent issue I found was that the reliability and uptime were a bit poor, however this was compensated for by the impressive customer service that was provided. The cPanel was very easy to use and to navigate, and this was another strong point of the host as a whole. I purchased a hosting package for a domain that I already owned. I was also impressed with how easy it was to transfer the domain from one host to another. In addition to the use of the hosting package, I also teamed up as an affiliate for Bluehost, and was also very happy with the functionality of that. In summary, the survice was very good, however, of there is one thing to improve on, it would be their reliability and uptime

This review comes from a user who has been using Freehostia for more than a year. And all I can say is that Bluehost is a Godsend !
I’ve been using Bluehost’s free hosting for about a couple of months now, and I’m simply amazed by the near 100% uptime even though I don’t have to pay a cent. Even occasional spike in traffic doesn’t affect my website, unlike some other paid webhosts who simply suspend accounts even with tiny spikes in traffic.

Here are some of the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
1) Its completely free.
2) 200GB Bandwidth/Month
3) More than 5 GB of webspace.
4) Awesome Reliability And Uptime.

Cons:
1) No cURL support on free Hosting plans.
2) Can’t setup Cron-Jobs with free Hosting.
3) Just one FTP account.

The Verdict:
I’d recommend Bluehost to anybody who needs a no-frills hosting plan or somebody who can’t afford/doesn’t want to pay for their hosting

BlueHost one of the top hosting providers is the safe bet for many who are interested to host a website or start a business with a website. They have been in this field ever since 1996 and they are second to none in their service. The packages offered by this hosting company cover not only businesses but there are certain packages available for individuals as well.

If you are looking for a service provider from whom you can get great customer service, guaranteed uptime, latest administrative tools, secure backups and an overall honest business then bluehost is your key. Another great feature is that bluehost offers domain privacy absolutely for free. They also have a number of servers which ensure you that even if one of them goes down, the other remains to provide uninterrupted access to your website.

As we all know, there are certain disadvantages even with the best of the services and in this the disadvantages with Blue host is related with its customer support. Their support is mainly concentrated in and around the United States and some customers are affected by this factor and also due to negligence of the customer support staff. But overall, Bluehost is a nice hosting company to deal with.

BlueHost, among its great feature, offers unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage space. My first impression of BlueHost was like “Wow, this is a lot of space and bandwidth, for cheap.” For the basic package, they providing 2500 POP3/IMAP email addresses. This very high capacity makes this host a serious contender in this business. Aside from that, they also provide some great features such as up to 20 sub-domains.

BlueHost is a very promising company that is becoming a favorite among business type websites due their wide array of features. Its webhosting plan can host unlimited domains and one free forever.

I had a site that took up quite a bit of capacity and even more bandwidth, and basically nothing else. I was looking for a host that could support it, and of course at a small price until I found BlueHost. They also gives an insanely huge amount of space and bandwidth for a price of almost a penny. I signed up with them and so far I am still satisfied with their service. Uptime is also tremendously great.

The only negative thing I encountered with them is the fact that their interface is not that user friendly. Any newbie will find it very difficult to navigate.

Overall, the site is great and the service is very good.

Bluehost was my first real shot at an organized website so I was very skeptical and cautious. I had heard good reviews before and also heard that there was bad customer support. After only about 3 or 4 weeks I found that the customer support was reasonable for being such a busy and popular host. It was definitely easy to use and manage my account so there were no hassles. The only reason I gave price/value 3 stars is because I feel that almost every web host has a price that’s too much for what it’s worth. However, I liked my choice with Bluehost because the overall quality of my experience was worth what I paid for in the end. I recommend it to any beginner with websites.

Bluehost is one of the top hosting providers around the world. They are known for their quality service and low pricing. It is also the reason why i chose to host my website with them.

Bluehost is the first hosting service provider i have used and 2 years since, still is a loyal customer. I still remember that it is their exciting offer ‘free domain name for life’, that made them stands out from the crowd. Back then, there isn’t much of these features from other hosting companies.

Not only that they honor their promise(free domain for life), their quality of service in terms of uptime and server speed also contributes to the reason why im still staying with them.

The only flaw i can see is that they only provide 1 plan. If my website requires more performance, i may be forced to move i guess.

I have been using BlueHost as a hosting provider for my blog for over 2 years. During this time, I have had some very high traffic spikes (over 100,000 hits in a day) whenever a post went viral, but I never suffered any downtime. I have a shared hosting plan with them.

So, why do I use BlueHost? Well, the first thing is reliability – I had been burned by other cheaper hosting companies before and wanted a hosting provider where I do not have to worry about my blog being down. BlueHost (at the time of my research) showed as one of the most reliable, and in the two years since then, it has lived up to its promise.

The second most important thing is customer support. I have had to access their customer support a couple of times and it has been an absolutely painless experience. The people there know their stuff. For instance, there was once that I wanted to gain SSH access to my account, and they required some security verification for that. The whole process went very smoothly for me.

Their control panel is extensive and you can do pretty much everything from there (though it may be a little overwhelming for newbies). And there are tons of goodies for serious users.

The only thing I wish for when dealing with BlueHost is that they should be a little cheaper, but then the service that I receive is worth the price I pay, and so I continue to renew their services every year.

I was with bluehost for the past year and enjoyed their services overall. The best part of which was the support team. Their responses were always timely and the explanations were thorough. Additionally they were quick to upgrade/update my account or server. This included various changes necessary to php.ini, my wordpress installation, and more.

the reason i left bluehost was because of the inability to install memcache or apc succesfully to work with various caching plugins i use with wordpress. Furthermore, the processing power and resources necessary for my site to work was insufficient with a shared hosting plan.

i would definitely suggest this hosting provider if you have a smaller site/blog that doesn’t require more than maybe 10 resource heavy plugins. If price matters to you then Bluehost is a great option by offering very affordable rates.
